Transformational Coaching
What I Do
I’m Elaine Mercedes Mendoza, an ICF-certified transformative coach specializing in life transitions.
My work focuses on helping you:
-
Break free from labels that limit your identity
-
Process emotional overwhelm and burnout (especially caregivers)
-
Rebuild a life that feels meaningful—not just manageable
Why I’m Different
This isn’t just something I studied—it’s something I lived.
In 2015, I left corporate America and spent the last decade traveling, learning, and healing across the world.
I’ve:
-
Lived and trained with Buddhist monks and nuns practicing Vipassana meditation (100+ hours of silent practice)
-
Studied the Bhagavad Gita in a monastic setting in England
-
Immersed myself in different cultures, perspectives, and ways of living
This path changed me—personally and professionally.
And it shapes how I support others today.
My Philosophy
I believe healing doesn’t belong only to those who can afford “premium care.”
Everyone deserves guidance, support, and a safe space to rebuild their life.
That’s why I offer multiple ways to work together—so support is accessible, not exclusive.

Work With Me
There are several ways to receive support depending on where you are in your journey.

Who is Elaine Mercedes Mendoza?
First of all, Elaine is a human who decided to leave her corporate life in The United States to open up her destined path. She decided to embark on a journey in 2015 that would take her all over the world. She wanted to find answers and healing to her trauma and pressing questions about life. In the process, she lived with both Buddhist monks and nuns to learn Vipassana Meditation--a meditation process created by the Buddha himself. Elaine completed the 10 hours a day meditation practice for ten days straight completing a total of 100 hours of meditation. She returned to the temple to do it again except this time around the teacher assigned her as an assistant teacher. It is not easy to remain silent for days without the dopamine rush of the outside world, the internet, and external distractors. Elaine continues to practice Vipassana daily. She learned from two places in both England and Spain.
In addition, Elaine needs to view the world from different lenses. She completed a program with Hindu monks and nuns in the London area. For three months she learned about The Bhagavad Gita--one of the most respected spiritual books dating back 5000 years. Elaine has been nomadic for ten years and returned as a changed person both professionally and personally. While she has lived in more countries and cities than she can count, all of this has been a part of her education, life-changing experiences, and healing. She strongly believes that to help heal others you must be on the path yourself. Now, she needs to share with other people how to unleash the labels that control their lives while bringing awareness to how to heal them so that they can also create the life they want and deserve.

Furthermore, Elaine completed an ICF/CCA-approved course. Not wanting to be limited to The United States, she opens her coaching and mentoring services to people worldwide. She needs to be affordable and approachable because she learned that everyone needs a coach and/or mentor, but many cannot afford one. For this reason, she has four ways that you can receive the guidance that you would like from her.
